Where is everybody??

OK, this is a bit silly. It's 9am, and there's no-one of the 40 odd people who should be here, save for me, and 3 of the admin staff. Including the three other people with whom I am meant to be having a meeting, ooh, NOW. I wonder how people organise their lives if they can't even manage to be on time on a Monday morning...

How much...

Do I want to know about anyone who might read this? That's a question I caught myself asking myself today. Not out loud, you understand; I'm not that strange. I've been toying with comments stuff, or stat stuff which would enable me to know who'd looked. But then I wondered why I'd want to know. I could spend a long time speculating about the motives of people who might look here, when actually, they might just like the colour of the wallpaper. So, guys, I won't be tracking you down yet.

We had yet another colleague leave here today. The team seems to me leaking like a rather inept sieve (i.e. rather more than it should). Hopefully the fact that disruptive colleague is leaving in less that two weeks (huzzah!) will make this a nicer place to work. Beacuse it sure as hell ain't now.

Life...

Is full of whingers. I'm not going any further with that, but you know who you are. Or, and more probably, you don't and aren't reading this anyway.

Went out for drinks with an old friend the other day. Only had, during the course of an evening, 4 gin and tonics. Felt really bad on the way home. It's very nice that C2C have new trains, but they make any amount of alcohol in the system slosh around and make you feel queasy. 'Snot fair!

I have been preoccupied with management stuff at work. I don't like management really. It's full of potentially annoying people who shouldn't be annoyed by what you're telling them. I think I'm back to the first sentence.

Why

is it that I have a quiet day, but everyone chooses to phone me at just about 5pm, meaning that, although I had been ready to leave work an hour earlier, I can't leave for a half hour after that? Stop it; just stop it!
