And even posting at the weekend...
I nearly put "on the weekend" in the title, but then remembered, just in time, that I am not American. I have heard enough of vacations and movies; if you are English, the words are holidays and films (or pictures, depending on the context). Lecture over!
Valentine's Day nearly come and gone, with little impact, other than the shops will now be able to market their Easter selection with more force. Actually our local
Tesco has had Easter eggs out since the Christmas selection sale finished. And as for hot cross buns, I think that they are now a round the year comestible. Oh, for the days of true seasonal goods, including vegetables in season, rather than simply flown in from far flung parts of the world.
Anyway, hubby (and I nearly typed "hussy"!) are just about to go out for a meal, so I shall probably post tomorrow.
But I must point out that the spelling of "horrid" was wrong in yesterday's post, but I rather like hirrod as a word, and it does describe the shade of green rather nicely!
